ARISTOCRATICA

Lombard aristocracy of the 18th Century wore sophisticated robes whose embroideries we have reproduced on our glasses by means of a stone grinding wheel. The decoration can have a further embellishment adding gold or platinum powder, fixed at high temperature in the kiln. Fra’ Galgario portrait of a Gentleman (1730 circa) inspired these collections. The painting is in Pinacoteca di Brera, Milan.

ROMA

ROMA At the beginning of the Renaissance Galeazzo Mondella, a renowned goldsmith named “il Moderno”, created remarkable plaques in silver and gold; he was active in Rome at the beginning of 1500. Our collection Roma is our tribute to this Master, and it is imagined for a young collector, perhaps an heir of classical art to which he adds modern art in an ideal continuum, who knows how to mix both for a personal stylistic effect.
