Vetrerie di Empoli has created collections inspired by animalier motifs, a signature of many Milanese designers. Always with a playful, never pompous spirit, they pair well with contemporary interiors for a fashionable touch. Highly crafted, precious metals and homemade lacquers create soft or bold, yet always ironic, nuances. Take the python theme, for example: the bronze and gold python coils around objects, but its head appears only on the champagne flute and the egg. A tempting yet ironic touch. COCCODRILLO
It was our first “Animalier style” collection. The base of the pure precious metal laid by hand is enamelled with glass and then re-heated to fix it permanently and, more importantly, make it food compatible and non-toxic. The multi-tone shades of colours may be achieved only by trained and skilled hands in our Atelier. The gunmetal-black and platinum or gold colours and the boxy pattern are designed for a masculine space where the woman is the guest and he is the host.
LIBELLULA
Libellula presents glassware inspired by the world of nature and the dance of the dragonflies. The extraordinarily fine decorations are the work of artisans applying sophisticated grinding techniques, and the result is a celebration of transparency, lightness and refinement.
PITONE
Temptation Gold, the Snake, the base of the pure precious metal laid by hand is enamelled with glass and then re-heated to fix it permanently and, more importantly, make it food compatible and non-toxic. The multi-tone shades of colours are achieved only by trained and skilled hands in our Atelier. The smooth colours, the deep shades and the winding pattern may add a touch of character to your table or Interior decoration with sophisticated femininity. A master's touch: our Atelier shows the head of the Snake only on the champagne flute and on the egg box.
TARTARUGA
The world of nature served as inspiration to our Atelier, celebrating the Turtle, a creature symbolic of creation, wisdom, longevity and endurance. Its proverbial slowness is also a symbol of the measured passing of time: the same precious time invested by our master craftsmen in the creation of these multicolored, subtly nuanced ornaments, perfect in every detail.
TIGRE
Created as a sample to show our decorative skills to its full capacity, an idea a bit extravagant that became a winning one: though not easy at all to manufacture: it requires several steps of gold and glass enamels, and a long time for each one with continuous checks, obviously it is all hand made.
