IL COLLEZIONISTA

Young people dancing, talking, reciting poems accompanied by graceful wind-instruments while from above putti throw wreaths of flowers. This painting represents the world of Arcadia where humans and nature live in harmony, as a contract to the world of Baroque prevailing at that time. The large painting we’re referring to is “Festa Campestre” by Jan Boeckhorst, a 17th-century Flemish painter. It belongs to the private collection of Vetrerie di Empoli and perfectly expresses the collections presented in this catalog: a selection of the most precious objects, where the key words are “beauty”. This is Italy at the utmost of harmony and style.

AQUA

AQUA collection shows vases, large fruit-bowls and decorative complements with etched and hand-painted decorations that give the effect of ice water or frost. Produced in 15 colors and finished with platinum borders. The modern look of these items meets the ancient skills of our company and of our artisans. The wide assortment of colors allows Interior Decorators the finest match with the mood of their project. The platinum laid by hand gives a sophisticated touch of elegant luxury.

MARMO

In the Renaissance, the walls of the palazzos of the aristocracy were decorated with frescoes. The decoration began from the floor, with a baseboard that ran along the entire perimeter of the room, usually painted in the colors of the more precious marbles. The technique represents a peak of artisanal excellence. Our latest collection, entirely handmade, features the colors of multicolored marbles, embellished by the addition of golden veins.

OLIMPIA

When Baron Pierre de Coubertin, founder of the modern Olympic Games, conceived the flag with the famous 5 circles, he wanted it to be a symbol, representing an ideal of universal friendship between the continents. He wanted the Games not to be just competition but a celebration of the spiritual encounter between different cultures. This is where our story begins: on 11 of March 2020, the WHO officially declares the state of a pandemic with its grey areas and its painful legacies. The project for the Winter Olympics to be held in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo in 2026 gives us a project for the future and food for thought. The "Olimpia" collection is a tribute to the hope that Coubertin imagined for the Games: humanity that recognizes itself in union and at the same time a bearer of beauty. A succession of multi-coloured concentric circles follows one another in a delicate transparency, finished by platinum rings, all hand painted like every collection.

PALAZZO

At the Savoy Royal Palace of Turin in the 19th century, the Rulers of Europe would meet to discuss and agree about wars and alliances, which were often sealed with a marriage. In those rooms the ambience was characterized by beautiful glasses enriched with pure gold sparkling under the light of the flickering candles.
